Kay's Chalet Vacation Home is on the Avalon Peninsula, along the famous Irish Loop scenic drive - just 40 minutes south of St. John's, Newfoundland.
The East Coast Trail is a stunning 540 km coastal hiking trail on the Avalon peninsula and starts just south of Newfoundland's capital, St. John's.
The Irish Loop is the nickname for the beautiful road trip that takes you right around the southern shore of the Avalon peninsula following it's beautiful coast. It takes about 3 - 4 hours to do the entire drive, with beautiful vistas and everchanging landscapes the entire way.
Kay's Chalet Vacation Home is situated just 2.2 km. from the entrance to La Manche Park and close to all the attractions on the famous Irish Loop.
Activities located just minutes away are whale watching, sea kayaking, iceberg sitings, bird watching, fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, golfing, archaelogical digs and historic sites, lighthouses, wonderful restaurants and picnic spots, theatres, local crafts and more.
